The short version: BulkFilterImages never sees your images. Every photo you add, every filter you apply, and every file you export happens entirely inside your own browser, on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to a server. The only outside party involved is Google Analytics, which collects basic, anonymized usage statistics about how the site is used — not your image content.

1Who we are

BulkFilterImages ("we", "us", "the site") is a free, browser-based tool for applying filters to images in bulk. This policy explains what information is and isn't collected when you use it.

2How your images are handled

BulkFilterImages is a 100% client-side application. When you drag, drop, or select images:

They are loaded directly into your browser's memory using standard web APIs (FileReader, <canvas>).
All filtering, previewing, and exporting happens locally on your device's hardware.
Your images are never transmitted, uploaded, streamed, or sent to BulkFilterImages's servers — because BulkFilterImages does not have a server that processes images at all.
Once you close or refresh the tab, your images and any edits are gone, since nothing was ever stored outside your browser session.

In short: we couldn't see your photos even if we wanted to. There's no upload step in our code for us to intercept.

3What we do collect: Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand general traffic patterns — things like how many people visit the site, which pages are popular, what device or browser they're using, and roughly which country they're visiting from. This helps us keep the site running well and improve it over time.

Google Analytics is set to anonymize IP addresses where supported, and it does not have access to the images you process — that data never leaves your browser, so there is nothing for it to collect on that front.

4Cookies

The only cookies set on this site are those used by Google Analytics to distinguish unique visitors and sessions. BulkFilterImages itself does not set any cookies, and does not use cookies or local storage to track you across sites.

5Your choices

Opt out of analytics using a browser extension like Google's official Analytics Opt-out Add-on, or by enabling "Do Not Track" / blocking analytics scripts in your browser or an ad-blocker.
Clear your data at any time simply by closing the tab or clicking "Clear All Images" — since nothing is stored server-side, there is nothing further to delete on our end.
Use the site without a network connection after the page has loaded once; image processing requires no ongoing connection to our servers.

6Children's privacy

BulkFilterImages does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Since the site has no accounts, uploads, or forms, no personal information is requested from any user regardless of age.

7Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if we add a new analytics or feature in the future that affects how data is handled — we'll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
